Hauksbee and Parohn are the two families most likely to be the subject of a match request, because both were specified widely enough to leave a lot of half-finished installations behind. Damask, with its glass water globes, is the one people describe rather than name, usually as "the Kohler light with the round glass ball".
How to read a Kohler lighting model number
Kohler lighting model numbers are more legible than they look. Take K-32292-CH03-BML. The five-digit number identifies the design. The two letters that follow identify the fixture type, and across this catalogue that pattern holds without exception:

The practical use of this is matching. One warning: the digit pair after the type code is not a reliable light count. K-23341-PE03-CPL is a 3-light pendant, but K-32290-PE03-BML is a 1-light pendant. Treat those digits as part of the identifier, not as information.
What discontinued means when you are specifying
A discontinued fixture is not a lesser fixture. It is new stock of a product with a fixed ceiling on how many exist. That changes three things in a specification.
Count before you commit. If a job needs five matching sconces, five is the number that has to be in stock on the day the order goes in. There is no back order and no second production run. The quantity displayed is the quantity that exists.
